Ranger 3,000's board-to-board with TheArb1ter117
Your edits regularly have grammar errors, such as missing punctuation and capitalization. And the format of your edits do not match the rest of the site. For instance, in the glitch article you made just a little while ago, you said something like "all the consoles I have seen." You cannot write in the first person on a wiki. Also, your edits regularly forgo citations. Almost everything on our wiki needs to be cited. The Manual of Style goes over all of this.
Again, I suggest you join the Discord server. It's a lot easier for us to help through there.
I have tried to use the manual of style and still can’t figure out what I am doing wrong with the editing.
A member of the administration will come to you and propose the idea of you joining the staff. Then, it will be put to a vote among the staff members.
Also, on the topic of your latest edits, they are still not to the standard of our website. They are commonly full of formatting and grammar errors. Please review the Halopedia:Manual of Style before making any further edits. Please consider joining the Halopedia Discord server as well so communication is easier and quicker. It'll be much easier for us to help you make high quality edits. Thank you.
Okay. Thanks for telling me about those pages. I will add stuff to them and double check my spelling and grammar.
You mean tactics for facing individual enemies in combat? Not on their main pages, no. But, we do have gameplay pages for each species; Sangheili/Gameplay, for example. This is where "tactics" relevant to fighting them would go. However, I should mention that these pages are not up to the standard of modern Halopedia and will likely be massively reworked in the no-to-distant future, so anything you add to these pages might not last very long.
Hi. It's not specific to Firefight maps, but "Tactics" sections are something we're moving away from in general for all maps. This is largely due to the fact that they are highly opinionated by nature and aren't things that can be easily verified. While that was the primary reason for your edits being reverted, the edits were also full of spelling, grammar, and formatting errors. For content to remain on Halopedia, it must be of a minimum quantity standard and also maintain the wiki's formatting standards. Thank you.
